KSZ8041TLI General Description

The KSZ8041 is a single supply 10Base-T/100Base-TX Physical Layer Transceiver, which provides MII/RMII/SMII interfaces to transmit and receive data. A unique mixed signal design extends signaling distance while reducing power consumption. HP Auto MDI/MDI-X provides the most robust solution for eliminating the need to differentiate between crossover and straight-through cables. The KSZ8041FTL also includes support for 100Base-FX fiber media.

The KSZ8041NL supports MII and RMII with 50MHz input clock. The KSZ8041RNL supports only RMII with 50MHz output clock. The KSZ8041TL supports MII, SMII and RMII with 50MHz input clock. The KSZ8041FTL adds 100Base-FX support to the KSZ8041TL feature set. The KSZ8041MLL supports only MII.

The KSZ8041NL and KSZ8041RNL are available in 32-pin, lead-free QFN packages. The KSZ8041TL and KSZ8041FTL are available in 48-pin, lead-free TQFP packages. The KSZ8041MLL is provided in the 48-pin, lead-free LQFP package.
