The FM24C256-G is a 256K bit serial I2C bus EEPROM with a wide voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. It has a typical clock frequency of 400kHz and offers a maximum write cycle time of 5ms for byte write and 10ms for page write. The device is capable of up to one million write cycles and has a data retention period of 200 years.The FM24C256-G features an advanced write protection mode that allows the user to protect selected memory portions with a unique 7-bit device address.
