Diodes PI3HDX12221 based HDMI 2.1 switcher solution

With the gradual increase of 8K devices in the market, the demand for 8K HDMI switchers has been raised.

PI3HDX12221 is an HDMI 2-in/1-out switch chip that supports HDMII2.1 up to 12Gbps and has built-in signal compensation to meet 8K display switching requirements.

This solution uses two PI3HDX12221 chips connected in series to meet the customer's three-input and one-output HDMI2.1 switching requirements.

Based on Diodes HDMI2.1 PI3HDX12221 switcher can be used for up to three 8K sources (e.g., computers, game consoles, players) sharing one 8K large screen display device.

This makes it extremely convenient for displays to be quickly switched among multiple hosts without having to plug and unplug HDMI cables frequently.
