Electric motorcycle VCU solution based on ST MCU STM32G0B1VCT6

With the continuous development of electric motorcycle technology, there are more and more electronic control units, and if the conventional wiring method is still used, it will lead to a sharp increase of wires on the vehicle. Therefore, CAN bus is required to be added to electric motorcycle, which has strong error correction ability and supports differential transceiver, thus suitable for high interference environment and has long transmission distance. Functionally, CAN bus can simplify the body wiring layout, improve the stability of the body electronic control system, and make the car more intelligent and precise in control.

 

The STM32G0B1VCT6 is based on a high-performance Arm®Cortex®-M0+ 32-bit core, operating at up to 64 MHz, with CANFD and LIN communication peripherals and a rich set of analog and digital peripherals, and offers significant cost and performance advantages for applications in electric vehicles and electric motorcycle-related electronic units without vehicle specification requirements.

 

LSM6DSD is a built-in system with 3D digital accelerometer and 3D digital gyroscope, running at 0.65 mA in high performance mode and supporting always-on low power consumption function; it can be used in electric motorcycle applications such as vehicle collision detection and auto-steering to turn on turn signals.
