BCM solution based on NXP S32K344

Among many fields of development, automotive development is undoubtedly a particularly costly and time-consuming project. R&D needs to implement basic functions such as comfort entry, adaptive headlights, switch and dial interaction, air conditioning adjustment, etc. to meet daily travel needs.

In addition, because of the random environment in which the car is located and the potential for high and low temperatures, functional safety must be taken into account in both hardware and software.

From the perspective of software development alone, many cars have more than 100 million lines of code (50 million lines of code in Windows 10 environment), and such a high complexity of code inevitably requires a lot of human resources and time costs.

The NXP S32K344 not only retains the features of the existing S32 automotive platform - the software can be reused across multiple products with high compatibility, which greatly reduces the development difficulty and eases the workload of Tier1 and car manufacturers - but also brings the S32K series to Zone It also brings the S32K series to new areas such as zone control, battery management, and high-end body electronics.

The S32K344 (257pin BGA) based BCM solution from Siping Group has an extremely rich communication interface, which can be interfaced with PEPS, UWB and other solutions made by Siping Group to realize the comfort entry function.

At the same time, this BCM board can be adapted with AutoSAR driver provided by NXP free of charge, which is easy to get started and further speeds up the user development difficulty and shortens the development cycle;

Most of the components on the board have power supply options, so that users can easily make adjustments according to their own needs, and it is also easy for customers to understand the power consumption of the relevant components, and the solution draws out the BGA 257pin pin resources, which is convenient for customers to do development and testing.

Its M7 lock-step core, 160Mhz main frequency, HSE B support, and ASIL D compliant performance also allow the S32K344 to meet the functional requirements of most products on the market.
