SG1526J General Description

The SG1526J is a top-of-the-line monolithic pulse width modulator circuit, specifically crafted for fixed-frequency switching regulators and power control applications. Packed into its 18-pin dual-in-line package are essential components like a temperature compensated voltage reference, a sawtooth oscillator, an error amplifier, a pulse width modulator, pulse metering and steering logic, and two powerful low impedance power drivers. Not to mention its various protective features such as soft-start and under voltage lockout, digital current limiting, double pulse inhibit, a data latch for single pulse metering, adjustable deadtime, and provision for symmetry correction inputs. Its active LOW logic design allows for wired-OR connections, offering unparalleled flexibility. This versatile device can be seamlessly integrated to build single-ended or push-pull switching regulators of any polarity, both transformer less and transformer coupled. Operating smoothly over a wide temperature range, the SG1526J guarantees high performance even in the most extreme conditions
