RAA2S4251B5HWT#FF0 General Description

The RAA2S4251B from Renesas is part of their CMOS integrated circuit family, designed specifically for providing accurate amplification and correction of differential bridge sensor signals. With a maximum analog pre-amplification of 900 and analog sensor offset correction (XSOC), this IC can be easily adjusted for use with almost any resistive bridge. Its conditioning calculation is performed using a 16-bit RISC microcontroller, and the IC stores calibration coefficients and configuration data in nonvolatile memory (NVM) to ensure its reliability in automotive applications. Measured values are delivered through a ratio-metric analog output signal, and the IC also supports end-of-line calibration via a One-Wire Interface (OWI). Furthermore, its digital calibration feature eliminates the need for external trimming devices or lasers, helping to reduce assembly costs. In addition, the RAA2S4251B is engineered to excel in harsh automotive environments, boasting over-voltage and reverse polarity protection circuitry, excellent electromagnetic compatibility, and multiple diagnostic features
