LT1763 Low Noise Micropower Regulators General Description
The LT1763 series of regulators are designed for low-power, low-noise, and low dropout voltage applications. The LT1763 series is capable of supplying up to 500mA of output current. These regulators have a low dropout voltage of only 300mV. This means they can regulate the output voltage even when the input voltage is very close to the desired output voltage. The regulators have a low quiescent current of 30µA, making them suitable for battery-powered systems where power efficiency is crucial. Importantly, the quiescent current remains well controlled and does not increase as the input voltage approaches the output voltage (dropout). The LT1763 regulators are known for their low output noise. When an external 0.01µF bypass capacitor is added, the output noise is as low as 20µVRMS over a bandwidth of 10Hz to 100kHz.
